The Hatchery is proud of having the largest living collection of New York State freshwater reptiles, fish and amphibians which are housed in the Julia F. Fairchild Building, the Walter L. Ross II Aquarium Building and in eight outdoor ponds.
     

The Heckscher Museum of Art
The Heckscher Museum of Art was founded in 1920 by August Heckscher, industrialist, philanthropist, and resident of Huntington, New York. The Museum includes 185 works of art from Heckscher’s own collection of European and American paintings, sculptures, and works on paper dating from the
Renaissance period to 1920. Today, the Heckscher houses more than 2,000 European and American paintings, sculptures, and works on paper from the
Renaissance to the present day. The Museum is located in Heckscher Park, Main Street (Route 25A) and Prime Avenue in Huntington Village. Suggested

The Long Island Museum features art, carriage and history museums on nine park-like acres in the historic village of Stony Brook, New York.
     

The Parrish Art Museum

The Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum

The Irish Family History Forum
