MEET 150 DOG BREEDS AND LEARN FROM CANINE EXPERTS

Ladies Kennel Association of America Holds All-Breed Show, plus Obedience and Rally Trials, May 18 & 19, 2007 at Planting Fields

WHO: The (LKAA), a non-profit organization dedicated to the sport of purebred dogs and responsible dog breeding and ownership. LKAA is a member club of the American Kennel Club.

WHAT: LKAA Ladies Kennel Association of America will be holding their annual All-Breed Dog Show, offering fun activities for families and any dog lover:

Throughout both days, by process of elimination, one dog from each of the seven groups (Sporting, Hound, Working, Herding, Non-Sporting, Terrier & Toy) will be chosen from hundreds of entries to vie for the coveted Best In Show title. There will also be a “Best Puppy In Show “ where dogs under 1 year compete.

Obedience and Rally Competition – These exciting companion events show off highly trained dogs and precision teamwork with their handler with tests such as heeling off-lead, retrieving objects on command, and jumping over obstacles - either to retrieve a dumbbell or with nothing but a subtle hand signal.

Dog-related vendors galore (dog toys, leashes, food, apparel, jewelry, books and more), and information on dog care.

WHEN: Friday, May 18--9:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. & Saturday, May 19--8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
